What is the function of the barrel plating process of the galvanized chain?

Barrel plating is a method of processing galvanized iron chains. It is to place a certain number of small parts in a special drum and in a rolling state to deposit various metal or alloy coatings on the surface of the parts in an indirect conductive manner to reach the surface An electroplating processing method for protective decoration and various functional purposes.

First, install the cleaned chain into the drum, and the parts rely on their own gravity to tightly press the cathode conductive device in the drum to ensure the smooth transmission of the current required when the parts are plated. Then, the drum rotates in a certain direction at a certain speed, and the parts continuously roll and fall after being rotated in the drum. At the same time, the main metal ions are reduced to a metal coating on the surface of the part after being subjected to the electric field, and the fresh solution outside the drum is continuously replenished into the drum through numerous small holes on the wall of the drum.

The old liquid in the drum and the hydrogen generated during the electroplating process are also discharged out of the drum through these small holes, thereby completing the barrel plating process for the galvanized chain.
